Then we flew to the Galapagos Islands, landing on San Cristobal Island, where we met our ship for the week, the National Geographic Islander. We visited Española (Hood) Island, Floreana, Santa Cruz, Plazas, Santa Fe, Rabida, Bartolome, San Salvador, Genovesa (Tower) Island. Every day we hiked to view animals, several days we snorkeled, and also kayaked one day. After the cruise, we stayed on Santa Cruz for 2 nights at the Red Mangrove Lodge. Then we flew back to Quito, and stayed for 2 more nights.
